- I was a military dependent. I traveled to Europe and Asia with my father and mother. I married and then my husband, in his position as a Health Care Administrator, moved us around and we lived in several states. I taught math in the public school arena for 10 years and then I went back to college to become an RN. As an RN I have had experience in hospitals, outpatient clinics, long term care, sub acute and assisted living. I eventually became a corporate nurse and finally started my own health care firm in 1998. I formed another company in addition to the first one in 2006 and it is a content provider for Interactive Care Network Systems in Hospitals. I have had the pleasure to be married to the same wonderful man, Richard, since January of 1965 and out of that marriage has come two well respected sons, William and Christopher. These sons have given me 6 grandchildren (3 boys and 3 girls). As well as my positions of CEO for both companies, I continue to teach nursing administration for several State Health Care Associations and Health Care Organizations.
